Important Notes for a Smooth Stay 📑
While we welcome your furry friend with open paws, a few important notes ensure a harmonious experience for everyone:
- Suite bookings only: The dog program is available for suite bookings only.
- Limited Availability: We can accommodate a limited number of dogs each day.
- Vaccination Requirements: Your dog must be fully vaccinated in accordance with Japan’s Rabies Prevention Act.
- Additional Fee: An additional fee of JPY 15,000 (inclusive of local tax) per night will be added to your room rate.
- Weight Limit: One dog per room is allowed, with a maximum weight of 15kg.
Furry Friends Rules of the Road 🐶
To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, please adhere to these guidelines:
- Pet Carrier or Hand Carry: When outside your room, your dog must be carried or placed in a pet carrier.
- Alone in the Room: When left alone in your room, your dog must be in its carrier or crate for a maximum of two hours.
- Housekeeping: If your dog is not in its carrier during housekeeping service, your room will not be serviced that day.
- Restricted Areas: Please keep your dog out of the hotel’s restaurants (except The Nest at Peter and Naka Dori Café), banquet rooms, The Peninsula Spa, the health club, retail shops, and the guestroom bathroom.
- Outdoor Relief: Walk your dog on the outer perimeter of the hotel property, away from the building and flower beds. Clean up after your dog to ensure a pleasant experience for others.
- Page Dog Walks: Advanced reservation is required for a Page dog walk. Page dog uniforms are limited.
- Complimentary Amenities: A Peninsula branded dog bed and bowl are provided complimentary throughout your stay. These are limited in quantity and subject to availability.
- Responsibility: Guests are responsible for any damages or soiling caused by their dog.
- Behavior: Barking, biting, and other disruptive behavior are not allowed. Your dog may be required to be placed in a carrier or crate or leave the hotel.
- Liability: Guests are fully responsible for any injuries or damages caused by their dog.
