It’s always a bit of a gamble when it comes to airplane cabin temperatures. On my recent trip with ANA, I was surprised by the uncomfortably warm environment. Even though the temperature was consistent throughout the cabin, there was no way to adjust it. I couldn’t even direct the air flow towards me for a bit of relief. It wasn’t just me either; I noticed others wearing sleeveless shirts, clearly feeling the heat. I mean, on a crowded airplane, shouldn’t it be a bit cooler? You know, to help people stay comfortable. When it’s warm, there’s no way to cool down. This wasn’t just one plane either, all three ANA flights I took on this trip were the same.
Flights and Frustrations: A Tale of Three Airlines
My flights were pretty standard; nothing too remarkable, especially when you’ve spent years hopping between Asia and the US. The food, as usual, was just okay – nothing to write home about. Asian airlines, in general, haven’t quite cracked the code for great in-flight meals. It’s something about being 30,000 feet up in the air that just makes everything taste a little off. The seats were a little tight, but that’s pretty typical for economy class. However, the baggage claim process at Harry Reid Airport in Las Vegas was a bit of a disaster. The airline’s instructions were confusing, leaving me running around the airport searching for my bags. Clearer communication would have been much appreciated.
Family Travel Challenges: Not the Way to Spend Your Holiday
I was on vacation with my partner and we booked our flight with Vietnam Airlines, which isn’t supposed to be a budget airline. Imagine our disappointment when they separated us on the plane, placing us at opposite ends of the aircraft. It was not the way I envisioned spending my holiday – apart from my loved one! I mean, how can they separate people on the same booking? They know we are together, planning to enjoy some quality time together.
A Confusing Start to a Trip with Starlux Airlines
Our arrival in Taipei was just as chaotic. We couldn’t find anyone to help us get our boarding passes. We approached a few people for assistance, but they simply ignored us. Eventually, a kind stranger directed us to call Starlux’s customer service number, but we had no idea how to dial it. Thankfully, a staff member came to our rescue and helped us make the call. Finally, someone came down to take us to another counter to get our boarding passes. The whole process was so confusing and frustrating. This experience has definitely made me reconsider flying with Starlux in the future.
Delayed Departure and Disappointing Service: A Vietjet Flight Review
My recent Vietjet flight was delayed for two hours, which seems to be a common occurrence with this airline. The aircrew were friendly, but seemed a bit robotic. When I asked for a spare seat at check-in, I received a nonsensical response about loading capacity, despite the plane being only 85% full. Then, passengers behind me jumped up and moved to vacant exit rows, clearly without paying for the upgrade. We waited for over 20 minutes to disembark, with the ground staff attempting to cram all the passengers onto one bus, causing even more delays. It was chaotic, unsafe, and just plain stupid! And to top it all off, it seems like this is a common problem at Saigon airport. Overall, a truly average experience!
Uncomfortable Flight, Unresponsive Crew: Vietjet Falls Short
One of the most disappointing aspects of my Vietjet flight was the lack of basic amenities, like free water. Even Bamboo Airlines, which is considered a budget airline, provides free water to its passengers. The cabin was cold, and no blankets were offered. The flight attendants weren’t particularly responsive, failing to keep the passengers under control. I had to complain several times about fellow passengers playing loud music before a flight attendant finally took action. Unless things improve significantly, I wouldn’t recommend flying with Vietjet.
