This hotel is a real gem for those who want to explore Tokyo’s bustling streets. It’s just a short 5-minute taxi ride from Ginza, costing around 880 to 1200 yen depending on the time of day. If you’re traveling with a group, a taxi is a great option. Two metro stations are also within easy walking distance, making it easy to get around the city. Don’t worry about getting lost – the walk is much shorter than it looks on Google Maps! Daimon station is on the Asakusa line, and Onarimon station is on the Toei Mita line.
You’ll find plenty of convenience stores nearby, with two practically right next door to the hotel. And if you’re looking for some great food, a short 10-15 minute walk in the Shinbashi direction will lead you to a street packed with restaurants and bars, many of which are open late. This hotel has everything you need for a convenient and enjoyable stay in Tokyo!
Parking and Other Features
The hotel offers 24-hour parking for around 2500 yen, but there are also several public parking lots just outside the hotel with maximum rates of only 500 yen between 7 PM and 8 AM. This makes it ideal for late-night arrivals and early departures. The hotel itself may not be the newest, but it’s exceptionally clean and well-maintained. You’ll be able to snap some stunning shots of the Tokyo Tower, which is just a short walk away. If you’re lucky enough to get a room with an odd number, you’ll even be able to see the tower from your window!
A complimentary Nespresso coffee machine in the lobby is a perfect way to start your day before heading out to explore the city. The rooms may be on the smaller side, but they’re well-designed and make great use of space. We booked a room with bunk beds, which was a big hit with our kids – they loved running up and down every night! The beds also have rounded corners, a thoughtful detail that’s especially appreciated by parents traveling with young children.
Relax and Recharge
Even though the rooms are small, the hotel offers a reading room on each floor, providing a quiet space to escape the hustle and bustle. The lobby also has plenty of comfortable seating where you can work on your laptop or relax with friends.
A Few Suggestions for Improvement
While this hotel is great, there are a few minor things that could be improved. The bathroom shelves are a bit high and could use a ledge or tray to prevent cups from sliding off when wet. This could help prevent accidental breakages!
The hotel website could also include information about transportation to and from the airports and popular tourist destinations. This would make it easier for travelers to plan their trip and choose this hotel as their base. Adding a section with estimated taxi fares to nearby attractions would further enhance the hotel’s appeal to tourists.
A Great Place to Stay in Tokyo
Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. It offers a fantastic location, excellent service, and clean, comfortable rooms. The only downside is the lack of wow factor in the amenities, but this is easily overlooked given the hotel’s other strengths.
