A Day in Tokyo: Discovering Tennozu Isle

I boarded the Tokyo Monorail at Haneda Airport, heading towards Hamamatsucho. The breathtaking view from the train showcased Tokyo’s vibrant waterfront, dotted with historic warehouses.

A Walk Along the Bay

Tennozu Isle is conveniently located near Shinagawa, and with the recent arrival of the Shinagawa Shinkansen (bullet train), the area is now a bustling hub. As I walked along the well-maintained pathways of the bay, I couldn’t help but notice the energetic joggers enjoying the fresh air. The scene was peaceful and serene, offering a unique perspective on Tokyo’s bustling city life.

A Moment of Serene Exercise

My walk took me to a pedestrian bridge overlooking a national highway. The Tokyo Monorail gracefully glided below, creating a scene that was both serene and captivating. The highway was surprisingly empty, due to a cycling competition happening in the town. Despite the lack of cyclists, the gentle breeze and the soft sunshine made the walk truly enjoyable.
