Beyond its fantastic location, the hotel shines with impeccable cleanliness and exceptional service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, and the rooms are meticulously maintained.

While the amenities may not be the most extravagant, they are functional and meet basic needs. However, with such a fantastic location and outstanding service, any minor shortcomings are easily overlooked.

Your Gateway to Tokyo: Hotel Gracery Asakusa

Looking for a centrally located hotel with easy access to Tokyo’s famous attractions? Hotel Gracery Asakusa is a great choice!

Convenience is key at this hotel. Located directly outside the subway station, it’s a perfect solution for late-night arrivals. The rooms, although small, are thoughtfully designed and well-furnished.

After a day of exploring, unwind at the hotel’s Wendy’s restaurant, offering delicious and affordable Western cuisine. The hotel’s team is dedicated to providing excellent service, although wait times may be longer during peak hours due to limited staff.

The hotel also offers reliable laundry services, ensuring your travel essentials stay fresh. With its excellent location and practical amenities, Hotel Gracery Asakusa is a great choice for both business and leisure travelers.

A Retreat in the City: The Peninsula Tokyo

A Perfect Blend of Comfort and Convenience: Hotel Gracery Asakusa

Seeking a comfortable and well-equipped hotel near the vibrant Ikebukuro district? Hotel Gracery Asakusa offers a perfect blend of convenience and tranquility.

Located just a 10-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station, the hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by a plethora of amenities. Several shops, including convenient stores like Lawson and Family Mart, line the walk. An AEON supermarket is conveniently located right next door, making grocery shopping a breeze.

Adding to the convenience, a halal Pakistani restaurant is right in front of the hotel, catering to travelers with dietary restrictions.

But the real star of the show is the onsen located within the hotel. What could be more relaxing than soaking in a Japanese onsen after a day of exploring Tokyo? This hotel is a haven for those seeking comfort and convenience.

A Mixed Bag: Hotel Gracery Asakusa

This hotel boasts an ideal location close to Ueno Station and Asakusa, offering easy access to Tokyo’s iconic attractions. The hotel is impeccably clean and newly renovated, making it a visually appealing option. The area itself is safe, quiet, and well-lit, ensuring a peaceful stay.

However, there are some drawbacks to consider. We experienced a frustrating situation upon arrival where our assigned room wasn’t the one we booked, requiring us to settle for a lesser room and navigate a lengthy and frustrating price adjustment process with Trip.com. The hotel staff attempted to assist, but ultimately couldn’t resolve the issue due to the lack of availability.

Another point to consider is the limited staff presence. After checking in, we rarely encountered hotel staff or even a front desk attendant.

Overall, this hotel is a decent option in a pinch, but it feels more like a serviced apartment than a traditional hotel. Travelers should be aware of these potential issues and adjust their expectations accordingly.
