Get ready to assemble! Disney Parks have taken the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to a whole new level with Avengers Campus, a superhero-themed land that brings your favorite heroes to life!
This immersive experience is popping up at Disney California Adventure, Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris, and Hong Kong Disneyland. While the parks are inspired by the MCU, they exist in a separate, parallel universe within the MCU multiverse. This means, you won’t see any direct effects from the Blip, the event that decimated half of all life in the MCU, or the aftermath.
Each Avengers Campus is like a superhero training academy, inviting guests to become heroes themselves! The parks offer distinct attractions and entertainment, but they’re all connected by a shared story.
California Dreaming: Avengers Assemble!
The Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure is a fusion of Stark Industries and Strategic Scientific Reserve technology, taking over the former home of A Bug’s Land and incorporating the nearby Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout! attraction.
The journey to Avengers Campus wasn’t easy. Originally planned for a July 2020 opening, the pandemic caused delays. But, in June 2021, the campus finally opened its doors, welcoming fans to a world of thrilling adventures.
Avengers Campus pays tribute to Stan Lee, the legendary creator of Marvel Comics, with a dedicated plaque at the entrance. This special homage to Lee’s legacy embodies the spirit of heroism and imagination he instilled in generations of fans.
The campus is constantly evolving. In September 2022, Disney announced an Avengers multiverse ride featuring the menacing King Thanos, promising an epic adventure for guests. And, in June 2024, the Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts show had its final performance, while the character continues to appear throughout the campus.
But the biggest surprise was yet to come. In July 2024, Deadpool, the iconic anti-hero from the R-rated Marvel film, made his Disney Parks debut at Avengers Campus, adding his signature humor and irreverence to the park’s shows and food offerings.

The Avengers Campus is packed with Guardians of the Galaxy experiences. Guests can take a thrilling ride with the intergalactic team on Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout! Experience their intergalactic groove in the Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Dance Off! show, or even meet the team themselves!
Spider-Man Swings into Action!
Swing into action with Spider-Man! Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure is a thrilling ride where guests can use their own web shooters to launch virtual webs and help Spidey fight against the mischievous Spider-Bots.
Avengers Assemble! Beyond California!
Avengers Campus isn’t limited to California! Disneyland Paris boasts its own version of the superhero campus. Here, you can experience Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, a thrilling rollercoaster that sends riders soaring with Iron Man and Captain Marvel.
Hong Kong Disneyland is also embracing the Avengers! The campus will be themed as the Stark Expo, offering guests a chance to join the Super Heroes in their battles.
