A Fresh Start, a New Adventure
Get ready to step into the heart of Hollywood! Disneyland Paris is taking a bold step forward, embracing a new vision for its second park. The Walt Disney Studios Park will be reborn as Disney Adventure World, offering a captivating journey through iconic Disney stories. This transformation is part of a two-billion-euro investment that will encompass the entire resort, including exciting new attractions, rejuvenated hotels, and a revitalized Disney Village.
“Today, we are changing the story of Walt Disney Studios Park, evolving from ‘how it’s done’ soundstages to celebratory theaters and adventures that come to life in immersive worlds,” said Tom Fitzgerald, Walt Disney Imagineering Chief Storytelling Executive and Senior Creative Executive for Disneyland Paris. “These fully realized adventure worlds will become the focus of the park’s new identity and appear as realms that guests discover as they navigate deeper within the park and are invited to participate in adventures inspired by our most beloved stories.”
Stepping Into Immersive Worlds
The transformation kicks off this month with a dramatic new entrance to the park, creating a vibrant, contemporary Hollywood feel. This new welcome awaits guests as they transition into a glamorous movie premiere. The former entrance, a replica soundstage, will be reimagined as a tribute to historic Hollywood theaters, opening its doors in Spring 2025.
The new look coincides with the arrival of World of Frozen, a completely immersive land inspired by the beloved Disney animation. This new area will be located next to Adventure Bay, a multi-use body of water designed to host unique 360-degree entertainment experiences. Guests will be able to explore the park via a walkable promenade known as Adventure Way, leading them to diverse lands throughout the park.
Embracing the Magic
Disneyland Paris is expanding its offerings, welcoming a whole new array of enchanting experiences. Raiponce Tangled Spin, a family-friendly attraction inspired by Disney’s Tangled, will join the lineup. The park already boasts Avengers Campus, which debuted in 2022, and Worlds of Pixar, home to the popular Ratatouille: The Adventure.
The transformation will significantly expand the park’s footprint, transforming it from a half-day experience to a full-day adventure. The park’s evolution towards more immersive storytelling began with the arrival of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in 2007. The latest experiences exemplify this new creative vision, offering unprecedented immersion and powerful storytelling.

It’s set to offer unique adventures in immersive worlds, serving as a perfect complement to Disneyland Park.”
New Adventures Await
While no official opening dates have been announced for the Frozen-themed land or the completion of the park’s transformation, Disneyland Paris is gearing up for an exciting future. The resort will welcome two new park shows: Alice & the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland, an all-new musical debuting on May 25, and a brand-new nighttime activation at Avengers Campus, combining projections, music, and special effects with a new storyline featuring beloved Marvel characters.
The resort is also undergoing a complete overhaul, encompassing its flagship accommodations, Disneyland Hotel, and its entertainment district, Disney Village. Disney Village will boast new retail and dining options, enhanced landscaping, and modern facades. Disney Davy Crockett Ranch will undergo a refurbishment project to provide a modern and comfortable experience for guests, featuring Disney character décor.
