Imagine this: You’re stepping into a world of Disney magic, where every detail is designed to make you feel like a princess or prince. That’s exactly what awaits you at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel! I was absolutely charmed by the adorable amenities and the overall experience – it was truly a dream come true.
Sweet Treats and Cute Keepsakes
Oh, the little details that make this hotel so special! For every night you stay, you’ll receive two reusable tote bags featuring the iconic Tokyo Disneyland Hotel logo. These bags are perfect for carrying your park souvenirs or even using as everyday shopping bags.
And get ready to be delighted by the bathroom amenities! They come in a cute little tin, which is a fantastic keepsake you can use for storing small items or even as a decorative piece on your vanity. The hotel also provides adorable plastic cups that you can keep as souvenirs.
Of course, no hotel stay is complete without comfortable house slippers. And at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, they have both adult and child sizes, making it a perfect fit for the whole family!
Did I mention pajamas? Yes! Japanese hotels are known for offering pajamas to wear during your stay, and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel is no exception. While I’m partial to the Toy Story Hotel pajamas, these are equally cozy and comfy!
A Taste of Tokyo Disneyland at Your Doorstep
If you’re looking for a quick bite or some charming souvenirs, the hotel has two shops you can explore. The gift shop offers a variety of items, including some of the same merchandise you’ll find in the park. There’s also a convenience store where you can grab fast food items like onigiri, sandwiches, drinks, and snacks. It also has a selection of adorable little souvenirs, like mystery boxes and trinkets, perfect for a little treat for yourself or a friend.
A Touch of Magic, With a Price Tag
While Tokyo Disneyland Hotel offers a magical experience, it does come at a price. I was surprised by the cost of a four-person room, which was around 68,000 yen. However, considering the exchange rate when I visited, it felt like a bargain compared to the prices at Anaheim Disneyland’s Deluxe hotels. But, it’s still a significant splurge that might not be feasible for everyone.
A Glimpse of Time
The hotel opened in 2008, so it’s starting to show its age. The rooms, while still beautiful, feel a bit older compared to the brand-new Toy Story Hotel. The older rooms might lack some of the amenities found in newer hotels, such as abundant outlets and USB chargers, which could be a concern for larger groups.
Tips for a Smoother Stay
Here are a few tips to enhance your experience at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel:
- Check-in early! You can try their pre-check-in service between 7:00AM – 1:00PM, subject to availability. Even if you can’t check in early, you can leave your bags with the concierge and enjoy the park.
- Don’t be shy about taking home the amenities! The hotel encourages guests to take home the hygienic items, slippers, and postcards for a lasting reminder of your stay.
- Enjoy the magic! This hotel offers a truly enchanting experience, so make the most of every moment, from the cute amenities to the charming shops.
A Magical Stay
Overall, my stay at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel was a magical experience. The adorable amenities, the convenient shops, and the overall ambiance made me feel like I was truly stepping into a Disney fairytale. While the price might be a bit steep, the magical memories you’ll create will be priceless.
