- 2 to under 12 years old: Get an 80% discount if your child shares a bed with parents. For extra comfort, opt for a separate bed for your child at 95% of the adult fare.
- 12 years old and older: These young travelers are considered adults and pay the full fare.

- Drinks like beer and spirits during meals, phone calls, laundry, and excess baggage charges.
- Tips for guides and drivers in Japan.
- Medication, medical expenses, and personal costs outside the itinerary.
Tour Cancellation Policy
Life happens, and sometimes plans change. Here’s our flexible cancellation policy:
- Cancellation immediately after booking: A 10% deposit is required.
- Cancellation 30 business days (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) before departure: A 20% deposit is required.
- Cancellation 20 to 29 business days (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) before departure: A 30% deposit is required.
- Cancellation 10 to 19 business days (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) before departure: A 50% deposit is required.
- Cancellation 5 to 9 business days (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) before departure: A 75% deposit is required.
- Cancellation 2 to 4 business days (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) before departure: A 90% deposit is required.
- Cancellation 24 hours (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) before departure: A 100% deposit is required.
- Visa refusal from the Japanese embassy: A fee of 3,000,000 VND per person for visa fees and service charges is required.
Important Notes
A few key points to keep in mind:
- Visa requirements: Please submit your visa application at least 30 days before your trip.
- New visa regulations: Saigontourist will be responsible for canceling your visa if you cannot join the tour for any reason.
- COVID-19: If you develop symptoms or test positive for COVID-19, you will be required to quarantine and receive medical treatment in Japan. Please cooperate with Saigontourist and local health officials.
- Staying together: Please stay with the group and follow the itinerary. If you want to separate, inform your consultant at the time of booking to discuss options and potential costs.
- Non-Vietnamese citizens: Please bring your passport (including both passports if you have dual citizenship) and your Vietnamese visa (stamped in your passport or on a separate document).
- Airfare fluctuations: Airfare may change based on airline policies. You will receive a notification if this happens.
- Tour departure dates: The departure date may change if fewer than 15 people sign up for the tour. You will be informed at least 12 days before departure.
- Passport validity: Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your return date.
- Senior travelers: Those 70 years of age or older may need to pay an additional premium insurance fee (the amount varies by tour). Travelers 75 years or older must provide a doctor’s certificate confirming their ability to travel abroad and must be accompanied by a healthy relative under 60 years old.
- Itinerary adjustments: The itinerary is subject to change based on flight schedules, hotel availability, and other factors. You will receive an official confirmation 2-3 days before departure. The order of sightseeing stops may vary.
- Tour cancellation: If you need to cancel your tour, bring your ID card and receipt to the Saigontourist office at 55B Phan Chu Trinh – Hanoi to process the cancellation. We do not accept cancellations via phone.
- Pregnant travelers: Saigontourist does not accept pregnant women who are 5 months pregnant or further for our international tours.
- Force majeure: Saigontourist is not responsible for refunding any additional costs incurred due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, natural disasters, strikes, riots, sabotage, war, epidemics, flight delays, or government requisition that prevent the tour from continuing. In these cases, we will reimburse you for the tour cost minus the cost of already-utilized services (e.g., visa fees).
- Single traveler with child: If a single adult is traveling with a child under 12 years old, please book a separate bed for the child.
- Facial surgery: If you have had facial surgery (e.g., nose job, eyelid surgery), you need to get a new passport before traveling.
- Flowering season: Flower blooms can be affected by weather conditions, making it impossible to predict their exact blooming period. This is an unavoidable circumstance.
- Minimum group size: The tour will not proceed if fewer than 15 people sign up. We will offer to switch you to a nearby departure date or inform you of any additional costs to proceed with the tour. Thank you for your understanding.
